FMM

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here at: www.alltheweigh.com so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to post your own FMM post and comment on a couple of other posts. Now it’s time for this week’s topic!

What’s in Your Fridge?
1. List a few common items that can always be found in your fridge.  Sweet chili sauce, cheese, milk, pickles
2. What kind of milk do you drink? Skimmed but we hardly ever use the whole bottle
3. Do you prefer fresh or frozen vegetables?  Fresh
4. What do you currently have to drink in the fridge? A bottle of water for work, my husband's light beers and currently some coke and tango as we just got back from the shop (trying to cut these down but failing miserably just now...)
5. How often do you clean out your refrigerator? When it needs cleaning, it never gets in a mess tbh.
6. What’s the healthiest thing in it right now? peppers and tomatoes
7. What’s the most unhealthy thing in it right now? Probably the soft drinks
8. What do you wish you had in it that you don’t have now? Pizza
9. How often do you shop for groceries? It depends on whether we've done a "big shop", but  usually at least a 2-3 times if we've not.
10. What’s the weirdest thing in your fridge right now?  Nothing weird tbh, the only thing I can think of is the sweet chili, which in itself is not weird but the fact that I put it on almost anything is pretty strange, or at least my husband thinks so anyway!
Bonus:  If you could choose one thing to put in the fridge and make it calorie-free what would it be?  My mam's key lime pie without a doubt!
Now it’s your turn! Don’t forget to answer the questions and come back to post a link in the comments section! Happy Monday!

FMM...or Tuesday (yet again!)

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here at: www.alltheweigh.com so we can all see your FMM questions and answers.  Ten Reasons To Be Thankful
1. My husband. He is everything to me, I really can't believe we found each other.
2. My family. Always supportive and loving.
3. Specifically my mam. She is truly the most amazing person I've ever met. She's so selfless and the most caring person ever. I hope I will be as good a mother as she is someday.
4. Friends former and present.  We may not be close now but at one time I could rely on them.
5. My health.
6. Having the support and means to help me lose weight ie. a gym membership I can afford and that is convenient to use.
7. Having a job.
8. Having things to look forward eg. getting to see my family in January, going on (a belated) honeymoon in March.
9.  Living where I live, how I want to live (minus a few money restrictions!)
10.  Feeling blessed and loved.

Now it’s your turn to answer this week’s question!  Don’t forget to come back and link up in the comments!  Happy Monday!

My first mile :)

I really surprised myself on Friday by being able to run my first straight mile without stopping/slowing down. Now I know that's nothing to most people but for me it was a huge achievement- and one I never imagined I'd see before now! I ran it in 12 mins 7 seconds which I'm definitely working on! My husband has given me the challenge of eventually running an 8 minute mile- I don't know if this is even physically possible for me?! It may be a bit ambitious but at least it gives me a long term goal to aim towards! My husband used to be one of those people who would run miles and miles for fun- I can't imagine feeling like that! Maybe one day ...Lol

I was thrilled on Friday but I needed to push myself that little bit more today. I decided to up my speed by 0.5 units and what do you know?! I managed to knock over a minute off my time!! I wish I could have gave myself a high 5 when those 11 minutes 2 seconds were up!!! But then again I was a little preoccupied with the fact that my chest felt like it was going to explode- no joke! Ha!

Sorry for the crappy quality of this photo but I was trying to take it as quickly as possible as I didn't want to look like a proper weirdo getting snap happy in the gym!

After the treadmill I did some weight training and finished off on the elliptical. 35 minutes is the longest I've stayed on it before so I'm chuffed with that- I love seeing how many calories I've burned!! :)                                                                                                                        I'm having a break tomorrow as we're going to a bonfire and fireworks display, but should get back on it on Tuesday! Hope everyone's had a great weekend! :)

Halloween!!

Halloween always seems to creep up on me before I know it! I went out with my friend and her flatmate. I love getting dressed up and this year decided to go as "Where's Wally", am I right in thinking the character is "Waldo" on the other side of the pond? I had a lot of people pointing and saying "there he is!" "there's Wally!", "found you" etc it was funny! :)

My husband and I were meant to carve our pumpkins but I didn't have time as I was running late for going out.

I really wanted to carve a pumpkin as I don't think I've ever carved one myself- definitely  next year though!!
My husband did carve two (one was rather rude and I don't have a pic of it) But here is his spooky faced one!

2 stone down!!

I finally had my weigh in with my HCA today and it's official- I've now lost 2 stone (28lbs) over the last 6 months. I'm sure I said before but I think I lost the 2 stone by the time I went home for my visit, but needless to say the lack of gym and plenty of nice food meant I put a few lbs back on but over the last 2 weeks since I've been back I've managed to get back to that 2 stone loss mark. I realised today that this puts me at the weight I was when I met my husband! It's so true what people say about feeling comfortable in a relationship = weigh gain. But I'm working on that ;)

As I previously promised I've posted these current photos in my "Progress Photos" section. I'll pop the photos in this post too while I'm at it.

I have to be honest and admit I'm struggling to see much of a difference since the last photos I put up under "Progress Photos". Maybe by the time I upload the next photos after I lose my 3rd stone I will! :)

I'll go into a bit more detail of what my appointment consisted of today. Firstly, remind me next time I make a doctors appointment straight after I see my HCA to allow more than a 30 minute appointment with her! I could spend ages talking to her, she really is such a great motivator and always offers the right encouragement. Today we caught up on what I've been doing since I last saw her like 5 weeks ago now?! I was honest about my "blip" but said I'm committed to my new gym regime. She's recently had some new training with a dietitian who gave her some new booklets about weight loss to use with patients. To be honest the info in the booklets was all what we went through in the early stages eg. healthy eating, exercise and motivation for losing weight etc. She said this herself but what we did decide from it was to use the target goals they suggest. Basically, she wants me to lose 5% of my current weight over the next 3 months which equates to 10.4lbs/4.7kgs. She thinks I'll exceed it and I have to say I'm quietly confident that I can too! (Hope I've not just jinxed myself here! But it is less than I was hoping to lose in that timescale anyway)

In other news, I saw my doctor to discuss what we do now about my knee seeing as the MRI came back normal and he agreed that we should do some more digging so I've been referred to a Physiotherapist which is exactly what I hoped would happen. Hopefully they can work their magic on my troublesome knee!

I totally forgot to say I bought some new jeans while I was home and was thrilled when it was the size 16 that fitted best! I've been an 18+ for so long it felt amazing getting into those new ones.  I also seem to have shrunk as my new jeans are regular length as opposed to the old ones which were long- I don't know how that works! Lol But I'm not going to argue as it's the number I'm interested in! :)

Friend Makin' Mondays (Will I ever get this done on time?)

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. Winning the Lottery
What’s the first thing you would do for yourself if you won 100 million dollars?  Note: this question is specifically for you…what would you do for fun after the family and the bills and the obvious stuff was taken care of?
I would go on a MASSIVE shopping spree and buy heaps of clothes (which would of course be in my ideal size), shoes and accessories. In order to get to my dream size I would employ a personal trainer and nutrionist  and chef who would help me reach my weight goals.

I'd also love to buy a dream house where me and my husband can raise a family. He would love loads of land to keep loads of animals, pygmy hippos, geese, dogs, ducks and teacup pigs etc.

I'd visit my friends and family that are all over the place and travel everywhere that I've ever wanted to see- Morocco, More of the US and Canada, Germany, Mexico, Australia, Hawaii, Italy, South Africa, Thailand...the list goes on and on!
I’d also buy my husband his dream car (I can't remember what it is exactly) but I think it's a black Mitsubishi  truck, or something like that?!
I'd go to every gig/concert of every artist I ever liked.
If we could fly to space that'd be pretty sweet!

I guess I'd do pretty much all the typical things most people wish for. I think where I go wrong with the lottery is that I actually believe we have a good chance every time to play it. I'm always disappointed when we find out we didn't win anything. I think being able to make everyone you care for happy and those in need of help would be priceless.

Now it’s your turn to answer this week’s question!  Don’t forget to come back and link up in the comments!  Happy Monday, friends…

It could be you!!! :)

Well today I got a lovely surprise. Jessica over at Being a loser never felt so good! has nominated me for the Liebster Award! I'm really touched I was one of her nominees it's just a shame you can't nominate the (wonderful!) person that you nominated you. I think this award is such a cool idea, I'll explain it for those of you who aren't familiar with it, like me, until recently ;)

Basically it's an award where you nominate bloggers that you enjoy reading. It's an award for bloggers with less than 200 followers, but who (in the person who nominates yous opinion) deserve way more! :)

Rules is rules!
- Once you're nominated, write 11 facts about yourself
- Then take a look at the 11 questions the person who nominated you asked and answer them
- Get your thinking cap on and come up with 11 questions of your own for your nominees to answer
- Then choose the 11 bloggers you want to nominate (they must have less than 200 followers)
- Let them know they've been nominated and remember there's no tag backs, i.e. you can't nominate the person who nominated you.

It's been a while...

Feels like I've not been on here too much lately. So here's an update of what the last month or so has consisted of.

I was due to go home to Scotland for on Oct 5th but ended up going home earlier. The week before I went home I went to the gym 4 times again and finally tried that Pilates class. I'm so glad I tried it but it was rougher on my knee than I thought it'd be. I think while I still have problems with it I'd rather not do the kind of movements involved in the class I did. So although I was a little disappointed that I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would I'm still really glad I gave it a go.

Speaking of my knee, after my MRI scan I heard nothing from my doctor so I rang last week and turns out it didn't show up anything. In one way I'm glad but at the same time I want to know what causes the locking and the pain. I plan to make an appointment this week so I can discuss it more with my doctor, hopefully I can see a Physio or something because having started using the gym again I can already feel some pain.

While I was home it's fair to say I made the most of the home cooking and we went out for meals a few times. It was my parents Silver Wedding Anniversary so I couldn't really say no... ;)

This is my parents and the second pic is of me and my sister.

While I was home I couldn't really believe how much I missed working out and going to the gym! I went on a few long walks with my mam, which was good but I definitely didn't do enough exercise. As I had to go home early I missed my weigh in with my HCA. I *think* according to the scales that I managed to achieve my goal of losing my second stone BUT because it's not official I'm not going to celebrate it yet. I think my weight now is about the same as it was before I went home and I have my next weigh in a week tomorrow. So I'm trying to get a few more gym sessions in before then!

Here's a couple of photos from my trip:

On my way back I had a 2 hr break in Edinburgh (my favourite city in the world!!) I loved walking around the old town area and then took a wander round the castle, stopping to admire it in Princes Street Gardens.

Once I returned to Nottingham I decided to join a new gym with my friend Rosie, I've never had a gym buddy before so we'll see how it goes! We had our induction on Wednesday and I've been 3 times this week so I'm pleased with that. It feels good to be back in a gym :) And now that I'm not on the programme I was on before I can go to the gym whenever it suits me, so it'll be good to not feel so restricted. I also had my review call from "Healthy Change" who the programme is run by. It went well and they're pleased with my progress so I don't need to check in with them for another 6 months- hopefully by then I can really impress them!

I have some other stuff on my mind but I think I'll leave it there for now though, as it's a miracle if anyone's read this far in this long post!

Hope everyone has a good weekend! :)

Friend Makin' Mondays

I'm sorry I've been a bit absent on here lately. I'll do a proper post when I get a chance in the next few days, but for now I'll do this weeks Friend Makin' Monday to ease me back in to blogging! :)

Quick and Random

1. Choose three songs that would be on the soundtrack of your life. "Mr Brightside"- The Killers (Love this song and dance and sing like a crazy person when it comes on when I'm out), "Hallelujah "- Jeff Buckley (The song that was playing when my husband told me he loved me for the first time), "Morning Kisses"- Emily Marston (Our first dance song at our wedding)
2. Share the details of one project that you’re currently working on.  I've recently finished putting some photo books of my wedding together for a couple of family members.
3. If you could learn to do one thing overnight what would it be? Learn to be more assertive.
4. If you could be a fictional character which one would you be? I've thought and thought about this one and I really am stumped, I honestly don't know!
5. What’s your favorite thing about the month of October? Halloween and thinking up what Christmas presents to get people.
6. Share one TV show that you’re embarrassed to admit you watch.  X factor...I get annoyed when they put through the acts that can't sing yet I still watch it every year!
7. Name one friend that you’re thankful to have in your life today.  This is tricky but my friend Teresa has been in my life for over 10 years now (Wow! I never worked it out before) We're currently in different countries but still make an effort to keep in touch. I think she's so brave for doing the things she does and I think it's so cool how independent she is when it comes to travelling and living abroad. I'm thankful to have a friend like her as we have such a good time in each others company and we laugh  A LOT!...I miss her.
8. What was the most relaxing part of your weekend?  Huggles with my husband. I took a trip home to Scotland and was away for 9 days. As they say "distance makes the heart grow fonder" ;)
9. Do you like to dance?  If the music is right (and probably if I've had a drink or 2) then yes...I've got to feel comfortable with the company I'm in though as my dancing is usually a bit silly.
10.  Share one thing that you’re looking forward to before the end of the year.  Losing more weight and hopefully being able to comfortably fit into the next clothing size down for all (or most) of my clothes.

Friend Makin' Mondays (Late again...)

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here at: www.alltheweigh.com so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Uniquely You

1) Do you prefer to talk or text? It depends who it is. Generally I prefer to text friends, there's something about talking on the phone I don't really like too much (might have something to do with the call centre job I had for 3 months...never again!!) I prefer talking face to face so you can read peoples expressions etc. That being said I do talk to my mam everyday on the phone and when I'm not with my husband (like just now) we'll definitely talk everyday.
2) How often do you make your bed? Hmmm...next question!!
3) What sounds do you hear right now? Not a lot, I can hear some birds chirping and that's about it. I'm visiting my family in the Highlands of Scotland just now so there's not a lot of background noise where they live. :)
4) List three things that you always carry with you. iPhone, a photo of my husband in my purse and a tissue, in case I get the sniffles!
5) What are your favorite TV shows? Right now I love Homeland and American Horror Story. We're waiting on Season 2 starting in the UK- I can't wait!!
6) Is there a hobby that you’d like to devote more time to? If so, what is it?  Scrapbooking
7) What is your favorite drink? As hard as my husband finds it it believe, I actually like drinking water. But I also like ice tea and (I'm trying to cut down on this...) but coke, not even the diet stuff  it has to be the full fat stuff.
8) Share a couple of cool facts about your family. Like Kenlie's mom, my mam didn't speak English as her first language. It wasn't until she started school when she was 5. Gaelic is her native language, I think the fact that she is bi-lingual is pretty cool! My dad had a portrait he painted of my Granny in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery- I felt super proud going to see it exhibited. :)
9) List one thing that you will do for yourself today. Spend time with my family.
10) Share something that you’re thankful for today. The people I love the most all being around

Now it’s your turn to answer this week’s questions! Don’t forget to come back and link up in the comments. And try to say something to someone new this week. There are some pretty cool people connected here. Happy Monday, friends!Uniquely You

Friend Makin' Mondays: Fall Favourites

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. Fall Favorites

1. What is your favorite thing about this time of year?  I love when it's all wild outside and I can snuggle up and get all cosy with a blanket and curl up on the sofa with my husband. I also don't feel quite so bad for eating homely/ comforting food like veggie shepherds pie etc. I made spiced carrot cupcakes yesterday and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy....I also like Halloween- I guess I like a lot about this time of year really!
2. What do you hope to do again before Summer is officially over?  Have a drink outside, maybe in a nice beer garden or something...they may need to have a heater nearby but still it would be nice.
3. When did you last go on a hay ride?  I've never been and don't actually know what a hay ride is?
4. What is your favorite pumpkin dish?  I think the only pumpkin dish  had was soup, it didn't have much flavour if I remember rightly. Pumpkins are not used so much over here in the UK, but I'd definitely like to try more dishes with them in it.
5. Do you decorate your home for fall?  No, but maybe some day. Think I need some inspiration first though.
6. Do you have any hobbies that are seasonally specific? If so, what are they?  Not really. I used to do a fair bit of scrapbooking which could sometimes be seasonal.
 7. Apple cider or hot chocolate?  Neither, but if I had to choose probably the apple cider. I don't like anything chocolaty that isn't a chocolate bar.
8. Are you a fan of football?  If so, who is your team?  Nope.
9. Share a fond Fall memory.  Going to an impressive fireworks display in Glasgow with my husband, back in 2010 when we lived there.
10. It’s not Fall until…The leaves are all orange/yellow and brown and everyone wears scarf and gloves.

Gym 4 times this week?

In answer to my post title...YES!

I'm going to head to the gym for the fourth time this week. First was my class, my legs ached so bad after that. Then I went Friday and Saturday...I made sure I burnt at least 500 and 400 calories consecutively. It was so strange during my Friday workout because I had one of those moments where I realised just how much things are changing for me. I almost always aim to workout for 1 hour  but on Friday while I was on the treadmill I glanced down at my watch and realised I'd been there for an hour already...there was this little voice I didn't recognise in my head saying "I don't want to go yet"...THIS IS NOT ME...or should I say the OLD me. I really surprised myself with this so I decided to stay an extra 20 mins. I'm not saying this will happen all the time, or even again...but the fact that it happened at all is so opposite to how my old attitude to exercise was. Soooo the plan is for me to go again today.

I'm a little worried that I've not lost any weight since me last weigh in as my scales have been all over the place...I don't know whether to trust them (right now I don't want to). So that's why I'm trying to do as much walking as I can on top of going to the gym. I want to lose as much as I can before I go home in 12 days. I think I've been reasonably good food wise but over the last couple of weeks I've gone out a couple of times. My friend Teresa came to visit me which was sooooooo lovely. You know when it doesn't matter how long it's been since you last saw someone because it might as well have been yesterday- well that's us! :)

Here's a couple of photos of when she came to visit:

We went for a drink at this studenty pub called "Spanky Van Dykes"...or "Spanky's" as I'm told it's called by locals is as wacky as it's name suggests!

We love cocktails so I took Teresa to my favourite cocktail bar in town, Coco Tangs. I really love this last photo, I have no idea what was so funny but I love how natural it is :)

Too cute

I just saw this on facebook and thought I'd share it as it really made me laugh out loud...he's so content and happy with himself. Simple pleasures and all that...

Hope it makes you guys smile too :)

Boy did I feel that!

I went to my circuit and strength training class tonight. And it was hard!

I missed it last week as I had a chesty cold, though I did go to the gym a couple of times last week as I felt kind of guilty for not going to the class. This week it was the weight/strength training that really knackered me rather than the aerobic/cardio side of things. The weights my group were given were (in mine and couple of other ladies opinions) a bit too heavy for us- but we did it! :) It just reiterates that I should really work more on my arms, I want to feel strong in my upper body (I'm not talking muscly or anything like that though). Our instructor seems to LOVE squats so we did a heap of them, he got us to go as low as we could, hold them (for agggges!) and then speed it up and do them super quick. It was tough but I felt it working my thighs straight away!

I have a feeling my arms and legs are going to ache sooooo bad tomorrow, but it's ok that'll remind me how hard I worked :)

Friend Making Mondays (or Tuesday in my case...)

Ok a day late but here's my FMM:

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here at: www.alltheweigh.com so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to post your own FMM post and comment on a couple of other posts. Now it’s time for this week’s topic!

 Blog Stuff

1.  Have you ever met anyone through your blog that led to an in-person friendship/relationship? Nope
2.  Most bloggers have a specific niche.  What would you discuss if it didn’t seem inappropriate on your blog? This isn't inappropriate at all but before my weight loss journey began I used it as a blog for scrap booking. I keep meaning to get back into it but seem to have lost my mojo for now.
3. If you could meet three bloggers, who would they be? I think we answered this not too long ago, so my answer is pretty much the same. I feel really encouraged by Bailey WheelerJessica Martinez and Brandie Minnig (Brandie's not been able to blog in a while due to computer problems so I'm looking forward to reading her posts soon!) They all seem like lovely ladies and I feel like I could learn a lot from them. :)
4. If you had to choose between Facebook or Twitter which one would you choose?  Probably facebook because I only use twitter for celebrity gossip.
5. Do you vlog (video blog?) Nope never. I don't think I'd think I'd like to see myself on a video.
6. How many blogs do you read on an average day? I'm not sure, probably between 4-10, it just depends how much time I have. I had a 'reading blog list' kull a few weeks ago as I realised there were blogs I'd followed that I wasn't getting anything from, I would just scroll past them. It also bothers me when you spend time reading someones blog, comment and don't even get an acknowledgment, I just think it's rude and see it as if you said something to someone in 'real' life would it be ok to blank you?
7.  What is the coolest thing that you’ve seen online recently? It's not weight related at all, but I've recently been looking up honeymoon destinations. My husband and I think we've decided on Morocco and Marrakesh looks so cool, I've always wanted to go and feel pretty excited at the prospect of going. We're planning on going next March so that we can spend our first anniversary on honeymoon.
8. If you gave your blog a new name what would it be? Oooow tough one! I'm really not sure :/
9. Have you ever attended a blog conference like Fitbloggin?  If not, would you? No I've not. I don't know how common they are in the UK and am not sure I'd have enough to contribute, I feel like I have a long way to go before I could do anything like that.
10. In the past I have asked why you blog.  Now I want to know why you read blogs?  What do you take from it?  I read blogs to inspire me, whether that's weight loss, scrap booking (not done this so much lately...) or for recipes. I think it's cool to read and learn about people who are at a stage where I want to be in the future. I just don't think you get the same feel for someone's journey if you read it in a magazine for example.
Now it’s your turn to fill out this week’s questions! Don’t forget to come back and link up in the comments! Happy Monday!

23 lbs down!!

Soooooooo it's been a while!

I had my weigh in on Tuesday and it turns out I lost another 4 lbs, bringing my total to 23 lbs! I was very surprised to have lost anything to be honest! I'd been on a couple nights out and had a few meals out (we all know how much this messes up our calorie/fat/carb tracking) Then to top it off I got a cold last week and decided to not go to the gym while I was feeling chesty and wheezy. I read on another blog that having a break from your normal gym routine occasionally can help.Maybe it's just a coincidence though as I don't know if I believe that this would help loose weight. Anyhoo, I'm not going to argue with it, those 4 lbs can stay away!

So as I'd had nearly a weeks break from the gym I was a little apprehensive about going back. I wanted to take it easy so spent my hour there on the bike and using the weight machines. After my workout my knees were aching pretty bad. I was pretty disappointed as I knew I hadn't even pushed myself. But I'm still glad I went and have to say I actually missed it a lot (I still can't believe that I'm THAT person and feel like this...I was a total exercise phobe before, like seriously) On the plus side I have my appointment for my MRI scan next monday, so hopefully they find the root of the problem.

Seeing as I never get round to adding photos, I thought I'd pop one up of me and my friend Rosie from one of our nights out. It gave me a little boost when my mam said she could tell I'd lost weight from the photo.

Yoga or Pilates?

After my last weigh in my HCA recommended I slow down on my gym workouts until after I get my MRI scan (which I don't know when I'll get...) as my knee is feeling a bit aggravated (I was only going 3-4 times a week) but I do a fair bit of walking aswell. I was pretty disappointed as I feel like it's all finally starting to feel more like it's becoming a routine for me to actually do exercise.

Anyhoo, she suggested I try Yoga or something with less impact on the joints instead, which is something I have always been interested in. I picked up a leaflet about the different classes that run at my gym and found that there's a few Yoga classes and also some Pilates classes. So when I was at the gym last night I asked one the instructors if these classes were suitable for beginners and her response was "try it and see how you feel" before swiftly walking off...not exactly helpful! I know I'd need to take it at my own pace but I kind of wanted some more info on the classes. I think I will try one of them but the question is which one?

So I wondered if anyone would recommend one over the other? Has anyone tried either, what did you think of it?

I liked this wee proverb. It's very true as being in the right mindset has been so important for me for the millionth time attempting to have a healthier lifestyle.

Tech Questions

1.  PC or Mac?  pc
2. When did you get your first computer? We got our first family pc when I was about 10 so like 1999ish. I got my first laptop when I went to uni in 2007
3. Do you use cable, DSL or something else?  I'm not 100% what these things are as in the UK I think we call them different things.
4. When choosing a laptop, do you think it’s more important to choose the fastest one, or the lightest one?  I don't travel with my laptop, so the lightness of it doesn't matter too much so it being fast would be more important to me.
5. What kind of cell phone do you own?  Do you like it? I have a pretty ancient sony Ericsson that is on its last legs. But luckily I'm due an upgrade soon and can't wait to have a phone like everyone else! Lol
6. How do you carry your laptop when you travel?  I don't really travel with it but when I have done in the past I have my trusty "laptop rucksack"- I hate how it looks but it has plenty of padding and does the job.
7. How many e-mails do you send on an average day? I probably send more during work than at home. Probably less than 5 a day on average, so not many tbh.
8. Do you ever blog using your iPad or similar tablet? Nope, seeing as I don't have either.
9. What do you use more often – a desktop or a laptop? Laptop as that's all we have in our home.
10.  As a blogger, are there other gadgets that you need to get the job done?  If so, what are they?  I feel my blog lacks photos etc but once I get my new phone I'll be able to take better quality photos and hopefully be able to upload more easily. So watch this space! :)
